On Tuesday, May 5, from 4:30 to 5:30 p.m., the Shelter Rock Library will host a Young Adult Book Cafe. The volume to be highlighted is Al Capone Does My Homework, a novel by Gennifer Choldenko. In the novel, it’s 1936 and 13-year old Moose Flanagan’s father has been promoted to associate warden of Alcatraz prison. When Moose wakes up from dozing while babysitting, he discovers the apartment is on fire and suspects arson. The Shelter Rock Library is at 165 Searingtown Rd.
