tresbelleSince the winter of 2012, Tres Belle Living has operated a boutique in downtown Roslyn, one noted for “chic, stylistic and elegant” designs for interior designs.

Tres Belle, at 2 Main St., is unique in many ways, said Jackie Castagnaro, the store’s proprietor. Along with her designer partner, Silvana Loccisano, the two collaborate on full design services to provide customers with one-stop shopping from the store’s workroom selections.

The latter is the key to Tres Belle’s offerings. Such selections, the two said, are more affordable and accessible for those seeking to enhance their interior designs. Window dressing is important to any store and more so with one like Tres Belle.

“We like this area,” Castagnaro told The Roslyn News. “We like the location and the customers.”

Tres Belle is currently offering new jewelry lines and a new line of women’s bags. A “gift shop with home accessories” is how Castagnaro and Loccisano describe Tres Belle. Its emphasize on providing homes with “the most beautiful luxurious accessories” also makes it ideal for the Roslyn.

Indeed, when the store opened a year and a half ago, Castagnaro said that its offerings would “inform, inspire and show you how to create an expression of yourself within your home.”

She added that Roslyn residents, once they enter “this eclectic store” would be transported into an ornate, luxe environment that, she claims “is at the same time as dark and cozy as a ski lodge in Aspen yet as feminine and soft as a powder room in a chic Parisian apartment.”

“There is so much to see from the ceiling to the floor of all four walls,” Castagnaro said. “Here one can find solid wood picture frames with ornate borders that can be custom selected surrounding prints with genuine Swarovski crystals, accent pieces for every room of your home, a small gift for a teacher or housewarming as well as a bureau or lamp for a living room or bedroom.”

The majority of these items, Castagnaro said, are exclusive not just to Roslyn but also to the entire Gold Coast of Long Island.

“The most surprising thing about Tres Belle Living is it is affordable yet possesses the feel of an old world antique shop,” she added. “This is a North Shore shopping destination offering finishing touches for any room and personalized interior decorating services to all, most definitely filling a niche that was missing in the Roslyn area.”
