On Tuesday, May 5, at 8 p.m., at the Shelter Rock Jewish Center, Kenneth Bob will give a talk, “Understanding Israel Politics: How Do You Run A Country With 12 Parties Represented in the Parliament.”
Israel’s political system is very different from the United States and understanding its politics can be a challenge. In his talk, Bob will explain the mysteries of the Israeli political system and trace the different party platforms back to the Zionist movements that established the state in 1948. He will introduce the leading players and discuss the key issues that determine the outcome of the recent elections.
Bob is the president of Ameinu, the progressive Zionist organization and the chair of the board of the American Zionist movement.
