Roslyn High School students Kamyar Ghiam and Joy Chung have been selected to participate in this year’s annual New York State School Music Association All State Music Festival (NYSSMA). Ghiam plays the French horn and Chung plays the violin. They were selected based on NYSSMA scores achieved at NYSSMA festivals last spring, and from music teacher’s recommendations. These students represented the district earlier this month at the All States held from Dec. 3 to 6, at the Rochester Riverside Convention Center.
