Roslyn Scholarship Dinner


gradThe 24th Annual Scholarship Dinner for the Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. Second-Year Scholarship Program will take place on Wednesday, Jan. 15, 2014, at 7 p.m. at the Swan Club in Glenwood Landing.  Residents are invited to attend to help support the fund that has over the last 30 years enabled more than 260 Roslyn students to pursue their goals of higher education.

The Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. Scholarship Committee will honor three individuals who have made invaluable contributions to the Roslyn community:  Victor Caputo, Art Mandel and Barry Silberzweig.

Tickets for the dinner are $55. Send a check payable to the Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. Scholarship Fund to:  Mrs. Minnie Gibbs, 108 A Laurel Street, Roslyn Heights, NY  11577, telephone 621-0325.

Paid reservations received after Jan. 8 will be held at the door; all other tickets will be mailed.
