Members of the Roslyn Educational Secretaries Association, RESA, marked New York State School-Related Professionals Recognition (SRP) Day last month by wearing their RESA shirts. School-Related Professionals are the dedicated support staff that make public schools run smoothly. In 2007, the bill creating a permanent School-Related Recognition Day was signed into law. School-related Professionals Recognition Day is celebrated on the third Tuesday of November, often during American Education Week.
RESA is comprised of administrative assistants, clerk typists, secretaries and many other positions within the Roslyn School District that support the administration, faculty, staff, students and parents. RESA has served the district for almost 50 years.
