NCMANassau County Museum of Art (NCMA) in Roslyn Harbor has available new opportunities for volunteers.

Among the assignment choices for volunteers are assisting customers at the new first floor Museum Store, greeting visitors in the front lobby, providing membership assistance to museum visitors in the lobby, and working with the museum staff providing general office support.

Whether in positions that have them working with the public or assignments where they assist museum staff members, the museum’s volunteers are an invaluable component of the Museum Family. What is required for all of these volunteer assignments is enthusiasm for museum work, willingness to learn, and the wish to become a meaningful part of the museum’s mission of service to the community.

To find out more about volunteer opportunities at NCMA, call Director of Volunteers Nancy Barone at 516-484-9338, ext. 31 or write to nbarone@nassaumuseum.org.

The Nassau County Museum of Art is located at One Museum Drive in Roslyn Harbor. Call 516-484-9337 for current exhibitions, events, days/times, and directions.
