Kramer_031815AIn last week’s issue, The Roslyn News saluted graduating seniors from the 2014-15 Roslyn High School basketball squad with praise from head coach Craig Murphy.

There is another senior who just finished a stellar career for the Bulldogs is Matthew Kramer. A starting guard for Roslyn, Kramer also served as team captain and was the team’s third leading scorer, behind Keandre Augustine and Noah Nardone. In addition, Kramer was acknowledged for his all-around play by being named to the All-Conference team for Conference A-III squad, while being named Scholar Athlete of the Year, an honor that recognizes excellence on and off the court.

“Matt was a great leader, always level headed,” said head coach Craig Murphy. “He kept the team’s positivity level high. He was a great shooter. We’re going to miss his personality.”
