East Hills resident Jason Lipetz, MD, has been appointed as chief of Division of Spine Medicine at the newly-launched North Shore LIJ Spine Center.
In his new role, Lipetz will direct the department’s strategic plans and quality initiatives for spine care, with a focus on the development of multidisciplinary spine centers through collaboration with colleagues in the departments of Orthopaedic Surgery and Neuroscience.
The Long Island Spine Rehabilitation Medicine (LISRM), founded by Lipetz, has offered comprehensive non- surgical spine and musculoskeletal care to patients throughout Long Island and Queens since 2006. He and his partners will now work in close concert with the physicians of North Shore – LIJ in an effort to better serve patients through an interdisciplinary evidence based Spine Center model.
Lipetz is a also a clinical assistant professor at the Hofstra North Shore-LIJ School of Medicine. Lipetz lives in East Hills with his wife and two children.
