Hunts To Talk On New Cedarmere Book

CedarmereOn Sunday, Sept. 18 at 3 p.m., Harrison and Linda Hunt will make a triumphant return to Roslyn to give a talk and book signing on their new book, William Cullen Bryant’s Cedarmere Estate, which, not surprisingly, will take place at Cedarmere, 225 Bryant Ave., Roslyn Harbor.
This new book from Arcadia Publishing, is a pictorial history of the entire Bryant estate from the 1700s until 2016, including the Cedarmere museum, the Nassau County Museum of Art property, and numerous buildings in the Village of Roslyn Harbor. Harrison and Linda Hunt will discuss the ins and outs of creating the book, including interesting stories and illustrations that did not make it to the final draft.
The presentation will take place in William Cullen Bryant’s home, followed by snacks and refreshments Admission is free. Seating is limited, so early arrival is recommended. Anyone who becomes a member of the Friends of Cedarmere on this day will receive a copy of the book inscribed by the authors.
Parking is available south and north of the house, with handicapped parking in front of the house.
