Hooray For Havdalah In Roslyn

rosThe children and families of the Early Childhood Center of Temple Beth Sholom recently came to school to celebrate “Hooray for Havdalah” with Rabbi Schlossberg and Cantor Barnoy.
Havdalah is celebrated on Saturday evenings as Shabbat ends. Congregants say farewell to Shabbat and look forward to a good week ahead, with prayers, spices, grape juice and a Havdalah candle.
In addition to the Havdalah service, families also enjoyed a dinner together followed by an ice cream sundae dessert bar.
