Roslyn students choose from Halloween gifts

Halloween is around the corner and students at Concerned Citizens for Roslyn Youth, Inc. (CCRYINC) were the recent recipients of donated costumes for the holiday.

Shannon Soffey, an eighth grader at Roslyn Middle School volunteers her time to get Halloween costume donations, while distributing them to grateful youngsters. Specifically, students in the Safe Places After School program received the donations.

“You could see the joy and appreciation of the children’s as they were fitted for costumes,” said Janice Miles, a director at CCRYINC. “There were great costumes to choose from.”
