Temple Sinai of Roslyn invites the entire community to join them every Friday night at 6:30 p.m. from Friday July 1 through Labor Day weekend, for an outdoor Kabbalat Shabbat service in the beautiful Temple courtyard garden.
Cantors Sergei and Elena Schwartz’s musical talent is apparent as they engage the group in prayer and song, accompanied by Izzy Gliksberg on the guitar and keyboard. Rabbi Andrew Gordon and Rabbi Michael White, lead these inspirational services. The innovative, musical Shabbat services are lively, inspiring and warm, drawing more and more members of every generation.
On Friday nights July 8, July 22, Aug. 12 and 26 at 5:45 p.m., residents are welcome to meet and mingle with wine and cheese prior to the service.
