Francis Thomas O’Leary of Roslyn passed on Nov. 14, in his 87th year. Francis had a full life from Hells’ Kitchen to Sunnyside to serving as a tail gunner in the Navy during World War II. He was a dedicated father and husband who owned and ran many bars in New York City and worked at the race track for years to take care of his family, the love of his life, wife Laureen O’Leary, and their three children, Ryan, Brent and Heather. He was known for his class, toughness, heart and wit. He touched many lives and will be missed. Funeral arrangements were entrusted to the Roslyn Heights Funeral Home.
