This Saturday, May 9, at 7 p.m., the Roslyn community will celebrate the career of one of the most beloved teachers in the Roslyn School District.
On that date, the Roslyn High School and The Royal Crown Players will note the retirement of Brad Frey, the director of choruses and of The Royal Crown Players, with a “A Tribute To Brad Frey,” featuring music, anecdotes, special surprises and more, all performed by Frey’s students spanning his 32-year tenure at Roslyn High School.
Affectionately known as “Frey,” Bradford Seth Frey, a native Long Islander, is an alumnus of The University of Pittsburgh and Columbia University’s Teacher’s College. He has been an active professional musician, composer and arranger for over 40 years.
The event is free, and seating is general admission. Donations will be collected on behalf of the Roslyn High School Scholarship Fund.
