Paint_081915ALongtime Roslyn resident Sally Cho recently retired as a New York City first grade teacher. This gave her time to pursue oil painting as a hobby. Included here are some of Cho’s most recent efforts. Cho is currently a student at the Roslyn School of Painting. Next year, she hopes to have a solo exhibit at the school’s gallery.

“I never knew I could paint, even though I always had the desire to try,” Cho told The Roslyn News. “In my old age, I tried, and I found that I could. So, you see, it’s never too late to learn something new.”
