NEFCU will be “Paying It Forward” in Greenvale this Friday, Aug. 29, paying for everything from groceries and ice creams to train tickets and pizza for complete strangers, as part of its summer initiative to visit a different Long Island town each Friday to perform random acts of kindness.
NEFCU reps will be all over town, including stops at the following:
– Greenvale Train Station (9:30 a.m.)
– Greenvale Diner (10:15 a.m.)
– Moe’s Pizza Place (1:15 p.m.)
– Yogurt and Such (2:00 p.m.)
– Waldbaum’s (3:30 p.m.)
NEFCU will also be handing out $5 bills to passers-by (and encouraging them to “Pay It Forward” themselves).
NEFCU will also award a total of $5,000 to three families or people in need of a helping hand. Visit www.mynefuc.org to nominate a worthy individual.
